AMS Lift Up Holiday Drive is being held 1st-5th December. There will be Lift Up boxes in each core and the AMS foyer.

This event is designed to make nutritious food more accessible while supporting local farms and regenerative agriculture practices. Each attendee will receive a carefully prepared bag filled with seasonal produce and other essentials.

In partnership with AHS, AEF is thrilled to announce publication of The Skier, Aspen High School’s first-ever alumni magazine. Published annually and written largely by AHS alumni (Roger Marolt and Lo Semple included), the magazine is full of alumni features, class notes, and other articles and photos that update the alumni community on the latest news from the Aspen schools and what their peers are up to today.The Skier is published by AEF and AHS, designed by local firm KVD, and edited by local journalist Catherine Lutz. Aspen School District is proud to host Dr. Nicholas Kardaras, an internationally recognized psychologist, best-selling author of Glow Kids, and one of the nation’s leading experts on technology and screen addiction. His work shines a critical light on the neurological, psychological, and social impact of excessive screen use on young people and offers families practical strategies for creating healthier balance.

This event directly supports our cell phone–free policy and strengthens our community’s Wait Until 8th initiative, both of which are designed to protect student well-being, focus, and authentic relationships.

We encourage all ASD families to join us for this important conversation. Together, we can build a mountain culture that prioritizes connection, resilience, and activity—ensuring our students flourish both in school and in life.
