Christa Gieszl is a board-certified internal medicine physician who has worked as a primary care physician for veterans at the Department of Veteran's affairs for the past 15 years. Growing up in a small rural town in Wyoming, she understood at an early age the value of public education allowing any child to pursue their highest passions. She and her family moved to Snowmass Village in 2017 so that her three children could attend the Aspen School District, where they all currently attend Aspen High School. As she starts her second term on the school board, she is proud of all that has been accomplished over the past 4 years and is excited about what is still to be achieved in the next 4 years. As a doctor, a lifelong advocate for public health, a passionate believer in public school education and the mother of three children, she brings a unique skill set to the Aspen School Board.
